Obverse: Head of Herakles facing to the right, wearing lion skin headdress, paws tied before neck. Reverse: Zeus seated facing to the left, drapery flows around his waist onto crossed legs, holding eagle in outstretched right hand and long sceptre in left, forepart of Pegasus facing left in left field, “AI” beneath throne, “AΛEΞANΔPOY” downward to right. Price-1385. Minorly off centre on obverse, although only below the chin level, and slightly double struck, the reverse choice and with a popular control mark, a lightly toned and exceptionally handsome piece, near Extremely Fine, reverse Extremely Fine.
