British Empire, Hong Kong, King George V (1910-1936 AD), Silver ‘British Trade’ Dollar, 1911 B, Bombay mint, issued for use in East Asia. Obverse: Britannia stands facing to the left, draped and wearing billowing cloak and crested helmet, holding trident in right hand and resting left on the Union Jack, merchant ship in full sail to left background, denomination in English surrounds within inner field around, date in exergue, geometric arabesque border surrounds. Reverse: Chinese symbol for longevity central, denomination in Chinese and Jawi above and either side, inner ornate arabesque design fills inner field, beaded border and geometric arabesque border surrounds. KM-T5. Certified and graded by PCGS as Almost Uncirculated details Cleaned (48442498). Lightly toned and with a few contact marks, appears uncleaned however.
