Obverse: Coat of Arms of the Kingdom of Portugal surmounted by the Royal Crown of João VI, date either side above mark of value to left field and three 4-petal flowers to right field, legend surrounds, “JOANNES· D·G· PORT· P· REGENS· ET· BRAS· D·”. Reverse: Globe, which is made up of long bands, set over an Order of Christ cross, diagonal sash bearing the mintmark over globe, legend surrounds, “SUBQ’ SIGN. NATA STAB.”. KM-307.3. Awash with a pleasing deep cabinet grey tone with light hues apparent upon rotation, typical blundered detail of the host coin is apparent with enough to clearly attribute the host as an 1808 Potosi mint 8 Reales, highly collectible as such, Extremely Fine.
