Description
Australia, WWI period, Gold Sweetheart Pin-Brooch (4.73g, 26x25mm, hallmarked 15ct), attributed to the 5th Field Artillery Brigade, Australian Army. Obverse: Three linear bands in the shape of a diamond surround rectangle with blue and red enamel (5th Field Artillery unit colours). Reverse: Shape as obverse, hallmarks central, pin mounted. A scarce and very well-made piece, enamel in good condition, weight includes chain, virtually as struck.
