Germany, Weimar Republic, Silver Five Reichsmark, 1930 J, Liberation of Rhineland commemorative issue, Hamburg city mint. Obverse: Escutcheon bearing the Reichsadler over trifolium, mintmark in upper curve, all within inner beaded border, denomination surrounds below, country surrounds above. Reverse: Eagle perched on arch inscribed with the date, inner beaded border and legend surrounds, “DER RHEIN DEUTSCHLANDS STROM · NICHT DEUTSCHLANDS GRENZE ·”. KM-71. Nice original toning, particularly to the reverse periphery, an attractive example, near Extremely Fine.
