Kingdom of Thailand, Chulalongkorn of the House of Chakri, King of Siam as Rama V 1868-1910 AD, Æ One Siao of Two Att (1/32nd Baht), Chula Sakarat Year ๑๒๔๔ / 1244 (1882 AD), Heaton & Son’s mint, Birmingham. Obverse: Royal Monogram of King Rama V, including the King’s abbreviated name “จปร”, Thai legend surrounds, “กรุงสยาม รัชกาลที่ ๕”. Reverse: Denomination and Chula Sakarat Year central within wreath of Cassia Javanica, “เสี้ยว ๔ อันเฟื้อง ๑๒๔๔”. KM Y-19. Certified and graded by NGC as Mint State 62 Brown. A pleasing and sharply struck bronze piece, lovely chocolate brown surfaces.
