Obverse: Head of King Leopold I facing to the left, laureate with oak wreath, engraver’s name “BRAEMT F.” (Joseph-Pierre Braemt) incuse on bust, legend surrounds, “LEOPOLD PREMIER ROI DES BELGES”. Reverse: Denomination and date central within oak wreath of continuous branch. Edge: Inscription in raised letters, “DIEU PROTÈGE LA BELGIQUE”. KM-3. Edge imperfection to 7-8h reverse (possible bruise, more like flaw), otherwise evenly worn and light toning to reverse periphery, typical minor contact marks for the grade, charming in hand, Very Fine.
