Obverse: Younger laureate, cuirassed and draped Bust of King George II facing to left, legend surrounds, “GEORGIVS· II DEI· GRATIA·”. Reverse: Crown with no pearls above mark of value, date either side above, legend surrounds, “MAG· BRI· FR· ET· HIB· REX·”. Spink-3712. An attractive first year of George II fourpence, evenly grey toned. Good Very Fine.
