Obverse: Young Head of Queen Victoria facing to the left, date below, legend surrounds, “VICTORIA DEI GRATIA”. Reverse: Britannia seated right, draped and wearing crested helmet, wielding trident in left hand, her right hand rests on her shield which bears the Union Jack, the National Floral monogram of English rose, Scottish thistle and Irish shamrock below in exergue, legend surrounds, “BRITANNIAR: REG: FID: DEF:”.
