Flavius Julius Constantius, Augustus of the Constantinian Dynasty 337-361 AD, Æ2 or Centenionalis, Antioch mint 350-355 AD, ‘Restoration of Happier Times’ series. Obverse: Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing to the right, legend surrounds, “DN CONSTANTIVS PF AVG”. Reverse: Roman solider (or Virtus), helmeted and in full military attire, spearing barbarian which falls clutching his horse, “Γ” to left field, mintmark “ANA” in exergue, legend surrounds, “FEL TEMP REPARATIO”.
