Julia Domna, as Augusta through marriage to Septimius Severus 193-211 AD, Silver Denarius, Rome mint 196-211 AD. Obverse: Draped bust of Julia Domna facing to the right, legend surrounds, “IVLIA AVGVSTA”. Reverse: Fortuna stands facing to the left, draped and holding cornucopia in right arm and resting left on rudder, legend surrounds, “FORTVNAE FELICI”. Sear-6583; RIC-552; RSC-55. Unilaterally toned, near Extremely Fine, reverse good Very Fine.
