Lee and Stonewall Jackson on horseback left, “STONE MOUNTAIN” and date to lower left, motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” surrounds above. Reverse: An eagle poised on a mountain crag left, “MEMORIAL TO THE VALOR OF THE SOLDIER OF THE SOUTH” to left field, “LIBERTY” and denomination below, country and motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM” surrounds above.
