United States of America, Silver Fifty Cents (12.49g, 30.5mm), 1925, Stone Mountain Memorial commemorative issue. Obverse: Generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson on horseback left, “STONE MOUNTAIN” and date to lower left, motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” surrounds above. Reverse: An eagle poised on a mountain crag left, “MEMORIAL TO THE VALOR OF THE SOLDIER OF THE SOUTH” to left field, “LIBERTY” and denomination below, country and motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM” surrounds above.
