Description
The Second Reich, German Colonial New Guinea, time of Wilhelm II of the House of Hohenzollern, Emperor of the Germans 1888-1918 AD, Silver Half Mark, 1894 A, Berlin mint. Obverse: Great Bird of Paradise perched on tree branch right, head turned back to the left, displaying its full, sweeping courtship plumage and spreading wings. Reverse: Denomination and date central in four lines, all within wreath of palm, tied below with bow, mintmark below, country surrounds above. KM-4. Certified and graded by PCGS as Mint State 61.
