British Empire, New Zealand, King George V (1910-1936 AD), Silver Threepence (1.42g, 16mm), 1935, Royal mint, London. Obverse: Crowned bust of King George V facing to the left, wearing coronation robes, legend surrounds, “GEORGE V KING EMPEROR”. Reverse: Pair of Patu (Maori weapons) saltire, date below, country surrounds above. KM-1. Key Date – Calendar year mintage 40,000. Certified and graded by PCGS as Mint State 62. Nicely toned and highly desirable key date.
