Republic of Fiji, Gold 50 Dollars (15.80g, 24.5mm), Privy Mark ‘War Fan’, ND (1991). Obverse: Head of Fijian warrior facing to the left, “BATI” to inner left field, ‘war fan’ and ‘conch shell’ privy marks to inner right field, fineness and weight surrounds. Reverse: Country and denomination in three lines central within geometric border. KM-58. 1991 Year mintage of 141. Certified and graded by PCGS as Mint State 64. A scarce, very low mintage issue, one of three denominations from the highly desirable set.
