Obverse: Laureate bust of the Female personification of the Free City of Frankfurt, hair filleted with several beaded ties and collected in an updo knot, wearing ornamental robe which bears the city’s Coat of Arms, engraver’s name “A.V. NORDHEIM” incuse on truncation, legend surrounds, “FREIE STADT FRANKFURT”. Reverse: Crowned Reischsadler central, date below, legend surrounds, “ZWEI VEREINSTHALER . XV EIN PFUND FEIN”. Edge: Inscription in incuse lettering, “STARK IM RECHT”. KM-365; Davenport-651.
