Obverse: Crowned Bust of King Edward VII facing to the right, wearing coronation robes, Engraver’s initials “DeS” (George William de Saulles) in line below bust, legend surrounds, “EDWARD VII KING & EMPEROR”. Reverse: Flower of four pellets at centre, denomination in Chinese and Jawi above and below, all within floral arabesque design, lined border and legend surrounds, “STRAITS SETTLEMENTS”. KM-25. Attractively toned with slight olive grey patina, despite the edge bruise 2:30h reverse the offered piece is evenly worn with decent remaining detail, near Extremely Fine.
