The Second Reich, German Colonial Empire, New Guinea, Emperor Wilhelm II (1888-1918 AD), Æ One Pfennig (1.98g, 18mm), 1894 A, Berlin mint. Obverse: “NEU-GUINEA COMPAGNIE” above crossed palm branches. Reverse: Mark of value central, beaded border and legend which details denomination and date surrounds. KM-1. Minor encrustation through the devices although largely moderate and unobtrusive when viewing in hand, a nice chocolate brown patina, Extremely Fine.
