Obverse: First young, bare Head of Queen Victoria facing to left, her hair double filleted and collected in an updo knot, engraver’s initials ‘W.W.’ (William Wyon) incuse on truncation, date below, legend surrounds, “VICTORIA DEI GRATIA”. Reverse: Brittania seated facing to right, helmeted and draped, holding trident in left hand and resting her right on the Union Jack, national floral emblem in exergue, legend surrounds, “BRITANNIAR: REG: FID: DEF:”.
