L. Calpurnius Piso Caesoninus & Q. Servilius Caepio, Moneyers of the Roman Republic, Silver Denarius (3.97g, 17mm), Rome mint 100 BC. Obverse: Laureate head of Saturn facing to the right, harpa behind, “Q” upward to right, “PISO CAEPIO” downward to left. Reverse: Two quaesters seated to the left, head turned to one another, stalk of grain either side, exergual-ground line below, “AD· FRV. EMV EX·S·C”. RSC Calpurnia-5a; Crawford-330/1b. An honest, well centred piece, particularly on the reverse which has the entire exergue inscription on flan, details Very Fine.
