Valerius Licinianus Licinius, Roman Emperor in contest to Constantine I ‘the Great’ 308-324 AD, Æ Follis (3.27g, 21mm), Londinium mint 314-315 AD. Obverse: Laureate and cuirassed bust of Licinius I facing to the right, legend surrounds, “IMP LICINIVS PF AVG”. Reverse: Genius stands facing to the left, wearing modius and drapery, holding patera aloft in right hand and resting cornucopia in left arm, “S” to left field, “F” to right field, mintmark “PLN” in exergue, legend surrounds, “GENIO POP ROM”. RIC-3. Choicely centred on a neat, round flan and with typical dark patina, slightly worn dies, otherwise Extremely Fine.
