Marcus Aurelius Antoninus, Roman Emperor of the Nerva-Antonine Dynasty from 161-180 AD, Silver Denarius, Rome mint 170-171 AD. Obverse: Laureate head of Marcus Aurelius facing to the right, legend surrounds, “IMP M ΛNTONINVS ΛVG TR P XXV”. Reverse: Jupiter seated facing to the left, drapery flows from his waste onto crossed legs, holding thunderbolt in right hand and long sceptre in left, legend surrounds, “COS III”.
