Obverse: Dragon holding pearl with clockwise curls, inner beaded border surrounds, weight in grains, denomination and fineness in English below, Japanese legend surrounds, “年 九十 治 明 · 本 日 大”. Reverse: Denomination “一圓” central within wreath of Paulownia Flower branch left and Chrysanthemum Flower branch right, each tied together with ribbon below, Imperial Seal of Japan above.
