Kingdom of Egypt, Fuad I of the House of Alawiyya (Muhammad Ali), as King of Egypt and Sovereign of Nubia, the Sudan, Kordofan and Darfur 1922-1936 AD, Gold One Hundred Qirsh (8.49g, 23.5mm), dually dated Hijri Year ١٣٤٩ (1349) & 1930 AD, Royal mint London. Obverse: Bust of King Fuad I facing to the left, wearing military attire, Arabic legend surrounds with a translation of “Fuad the First, King of Egypt”. Reverse: Calligraphic Arabic central with a translation of “The Egyptian Kingdom” central within inner lined border, denomination in Arabic above, Hijri and Gregorian date in Arabic numerals below. KM-354; Friedberg 32. Mintage of 6,000. Light scuff on obverse, else a noteworthy grade for such a low mintage issue, near Mint State, reverse Mint State, scarce.
