Empire of Vijayanagara, Emperor Krishna Deva Râya (1509-1529 AD), Gold ‘Durgi’ Pagoda (3.30g, 12mm), struck 1509-1529 AD. Obverse: Half length bust of Krishna facing forward, wearing turreted crown. Reverse: “Sri (Prat)apa Kri(shna) Raya” in Devanagari script. Mitchener-937; Mitchener SI-882. Well centred on a broad flan and with a bold obverse, slightly rough on reverse, otherwise near Extremely Fine, reverse good Very Fine.
