Julian (Treasurer) & Henry Morgenthau Jr. (Secretary of Treasury). Friedberg-2211-G; Pick-435a. Certified and Graded by Currency Grading and Authentication Inc. as Extremely Fine 40. Although graded by CGA over PMG or PCGS Notes, the piece offers sharp, clear green ink detailing, relatively clean paper and no evidence of damage, a nice example of the $1000 Federal Reserve Note from the Chicago district.
