Obverse: Bare Head of King William IV facing to the right, engraver’s initials “W. WYON. S.” below, legend surrounds, “WILLIAM THE FOURTH CROWNED SEP: 8 1831.”. Reverse: Diademed Head of Queen Consort Adelaide of Saxe-Meiningen facing to the right, engraver’s initials “W. WYON. S.” below, legend surrounds, “ADELAIDE. QUEEN CONSORT. CROWNED SEP: 8 1831.”. BHM-1475; Eimer-1251. Official Royal mint mintage of 1000. With quite clear handling with a few rim nicks and contact marks over the field, the present detail is still well preserved and quite charming in hand, good Very Fine.
