Obverse: Laureate and draped Bust of King George III facing to right, legend surrounds, “GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA REX.”. Reverse: Hibernia seated left, draped and holding spray in extended right hand and resting left upon the Harp of Ireland, date and denomination in exergue, legend surrounds above, “BANK OF IRELAND TOKEN”. Spink-6615. A relatively problem free example, all original design of the host coin has been obliterated, near Very Fine.
