Obverse: Britannia stands facing to the left, draped and wearing billowing cloak and crested helmet, holding trident in right hand and resting right on the Union Jack, merchant ship in full sail to left background, denomination in English surrounds within inner field around, date in exergue, geometric arabesque border surrounds. Reverse: Chinese symbol for longevity central, denomination in Chinese and Jawi above and either side, inner ornate arabesque design fills inner field, beaded border and geometric arabesque border surrounds.
