L. Julius Bursio, Moneyers of the Roman Republic, Silver Denarius (3.20g, 19.5mm), struck at Rome 85 BC. Obverse: Laureate, winged and draped Bust of Vejovis facing right, dot below bust, Trident above control mark to left field. Reverse: Winged Victoria commands Quadriga to right, “L· IVLI· BVRSIO” in exergue. Sear-268. Semi scarce type with dot below bust although with an uncertain control mark; struck a touch off centre on obverse and weak on reverse, present details Extremely Fine / near Extremely Fine.
