Obverse: Bare head of King George VI facing to the left, Designer’s initials “HP” (Thomas Humphrey Paget) in line below, legend surrounds, “GEORGIVS VI D:G: BR: OMN: REX F:D: IND: IMP.”. Reverse: Tudor Crown central, engraver’s initials “K·G ·” (George Kruger Gray) to lower right, date below crown, denomination surrounds below, country surrounds above. KM-34. Certified and graded by PCGS as Mint State 63.
The obverse Latin legend reads unabridged as “Geōrgius Sextus, dei grātia, Britanniārum Omnium Rēx, Fideī Dēfēnsor, Indiae Imperātor”, with an English translation of “George the Sixth, by the Grace of God, King of all the British people, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India”.
